Welcome To Theatre Art
The Department of Theatre Arts was established as a result of the splitting of the Department of Creative Arts into three departments as recommended by the National Universities Commission (NUC) visitation Team in November, 2008. The Department of Creative Arts as was then called was split into Theatre Arts, Fine Arts and Industrial Design. The Proposal for the Department of Theatre Arts programme was approved at the 247th Senate meeting which took place on Thursday 27th September, 2009. The University Senate again at its 294th meeting held on Thursday 27th September, 2018 approved that the Department of Theatre Arts should be domiciled in Faculty of Arts, while Fine Arts and Industrial Design were moved to the new Faculty of Environmental studies.

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Professor in Chemical Pathology. I am a lecturer and a researcher in Implementation Science University of Maiduguri. Producing accurate results that help in timely intervention and improve patient care, is my goal when I work on bench as a Laboratory Scientist. Discoveries during research, screenings and relating to those concern to find help or solution is the great fulfilment in life for me.
